Don't forget Eric Sabin & Steve Slade.

Bobby has done well since coming in. Next season we will see more goals due to us playing a different style. We won't need to play so much counter attack football with 10 men.

I was gutted when we signed him and don't feel any differently now. Not the worst striker ever by a mile though.

Don't look at Zamora as striker because he is not lol he is a pillar up top to lay the ball off lol and he does that well.
He practically plays the same role as hieder apart from hieder wind every ball however he normally flicks it on with his head when nobody is there lol

One of the worst threads ever.

Poor effort Tedwin. Zamora was never signed for goals, his hold up play and leading the line is top drawer.

zamora is a target man rather than an out and out striker. although i think we paid over the odds for him and he's probably on wages which are not commensurate with what he brings to the table, i think he's done ok for us. significantly better than bothroyd.
              come on you r's!

At least he gets off the ground which is a tad more than vertigo sufferer Bothroyd.

He performs a function, hold the ball and bring others coming up into the game.

How many chances have been created for Zamora to score - few I think. Due to our tactics he has had to run a lone furrow up front and I have been impressed with his ability to hold up the ball until support arrives, and also to have the composure on the ball to sell a dummy before passing. In a 442 he would score many more. He is not blessed with pace and is getting on in years so has to use his energy wisely. In all I think he has played a valuable part in keeping us up.

i think bobby z is an aquired taste for some.....history shows that apart fron his early brighton career and a short spell at the fools from 'neverland by the thames' he is not a prolific getter of goals.....however sometimes someone has to dig the footings to provide stabilty for the construction long term.............this is bobbys job imho.............i think a fit bobby/cisse next season and they will score enough to keep us happy!!!
                              you know nothing john snow!!!!
