I agree with 3London, had Stoke lost to Bolton, how many here would NOT blame JB for that? Once again down to ten men..due to pure stupitity!

For me he can be sold, his manners doesn't match the leadership he should have as captain.

come on the guy is a thug...and has had more than one previous...i do rate him as a player..but this ludicrous hero worship thing is way over the top.

so for the 10 or so games he misses at the start of the season ..the games he will miss through accumilated yellows..plus the enevitable red ..is he worth what we pay him?

      i don't think so!

Ok so as we now live in the lands of 'ifs' and 'buts' what if joey wasn't sent off and we didn't score because no passion was shown or anger at the man sh*tty players and we got tonked 8-0 and stoke lost. WHAT THEN? Exactly...stop living in what if land and live in the now. We stayed up. Get over it.

It's nothing to do with hero-worshipping, it's about football in general. Loads of players have done the same or worse than Joey over the years yet we want to lynch one of our own?

out of interest ..who has done worse than joey over the years? i think it is a pretty short list. not many professional footballers have done time..stubbed out cigars in peoples faces ..been arrsted for assult and criminal damage, run over a pedestrian breaking their leg in the process been given a second suspended sentence for assault...

if Barton spent less time trying to beat people up and more time playing football he may realise that he is actually quite good!

Please refer to my list earlier on in the thread. I'm not interested in what he did while at other clubs, I'm interested in his time at QPR.

i really don't understand this its ok what he does because he's one of us attitude..he's not one of us he is only with us because we pay him way more than any other club was willing to do.

football fans are so fickle..you only have to look at Man city re carlos tevez.

If every club threw out every player that crossed the line, you'd be watching 5-a-side every week.

To be honest I find him an embarassment most of the time. He reminds me of John Terry and will always have the potential to loose it and potentially cost us.

If he was a brilliant player then I'd give him more time, but bar 6/7 performances this season he was awful.

Getting a red for a moody challenge in the heat of the moment is one thing but what Barton did was calculated. He knew what he was doing. There were moments between Tevez hitting him and his elbow. Seriously can't understand why people would want him anywhere near the side next season. Thanks for your input this season Joey, now you can politely move on.

Didn't get the knee to Aguero. Doing that at least make it worth it and take him out the game.
