That would be a good pairing, but I'd prefer Defoe and Cisse up front...and have Yakubu as an impact sub (or rotate with Defoe every so often)

Why are people still hyping the likes of Dann, as they did last year. Then it was how great he and Johnson from Birmingham were, after being in a Birmingham side that got relegated. They sold for a combined £12m and both their new teams got relegated.

Yet people still consider them great and worth buying.... not for me. They are what i consider lazy premier league signings, ie known in the div, somewhat rated but massively overpriced. McCarthy is renowned for such signings, Johnson, £7m, Doyle was it £7 - 9m, O Hara about £6m..... Compare to the likes of Cisse £4m, Diakite £4m, Taiwo £3.5m.... From abroad, far more acomplished, far more pedegree and far cheaper....
