Could well be Hodgson's best appointment. Also, a loss to Sky TV as he was their best pundit. If someone had said that to me 12 months ago I would have laughed at them

I've got a lot of time for Gary Neville. From his analysis of matches you can tell he knows what he's talking about and when he discusses tactics or patterns of play they always make sense.

Having just watched the sky plus of yesterdays events he went even higher in my estimations with the way he accepted City lifting the title.
Sky did well to appoint him in the first place when a lot of people (me included) thought it would be a disaster. The man has truly surprised me this year.#standuptocancer
