Texted him some time ago with a message certain to get a response, but none yet. Maybe he is just undergoing treatment somewhere with no disturbing external factors allowed, hence the blackout. Hope so.

i have tried the mobile number i have always used to contact shamie and it is no longer in service. he's a genuinely lovely bloke and hope that all is well. does seem strange that he has had no contact with anyone on here in such a long time considering it was such a big part of his life. if anyone has any old numbers(irish or english) maybe it might be worth giving those a try.
i'm heading down to waterford on a fishing trip in june and last time i went i passed a house that had a big rangers flag in the window(quite strange in that part of the world) so i will knock on the door and ask if its his gaff or if the owner knows him. other than that i'm at a loss what else i can do.

Ive rang the number I have for him. Its ringing out and going to message but it is ringing. Left a message and sent a text. If I hear anything Ill let ye know. It is Shamies voice on the message not just the phone company message.

I've written to Eve( hie wife) but haven't heard anything back yet,also phoned the local parish priest,but suprisingly he never heard of him.At this moment in time NOBODY knows what has happened to Shamie.
