Depends on how old you are!

If you are under 25 then the town centre is ok. Loads of pubs with most open until 4ish. Can be a bit rough at times though so be careful!

My advice would be to head to Stockton Heath which is a 5 minute taxi ride from the centre. This is where anyone over 25 will be. It has around 5 pubs and one late night place but is a much better night out. If you want a late one you can always head to the town later.

Definately Stockton Heath to start then. There are some decent eating places there if you are eating. There are Three traditional pubs (The London Bridge has a decent outside area if weather ok overlooking the canal) All five bars are worth a visit though

If you do go into the Town later then just head to Chicago Rock as it really is the only place that over 30's would be.
