      That stat, along with all stats could be misleading. He may have a lower save percentage, but may have faced twice the number of shots and actually made more saves.

          I really rate Scott Carson. That balls up for England really affected him though. That aside, he's a top keeper. Would be happy with him.

                Al Habsi would be my first choice but may be unavailable with Wigan staying up.

                Paul Robinson would be an improvement over Paddy IMO.

                            He's 32, which is nothing for a modern day goalkeeper, hence Friedel is playing at nearly 41.

                            As for being more ambitious, who do you honestly expect we could attaract of a similar standard, bearing in mind many would say he should still be in the England squad.

                                I'd say they are about even ability wise, but he main difference is Foster is number 1 for an established prem side and his old manager has just go the England job and he's apparently making himself available for selection again, so owuld go to the Euros you'd imagine. As a resutlt they would charge a ridicuous fee for him.

                                Robinson's team have gone down and they will have to sell him and probably for an undervalued fee.
