No, we can't take anything from City away (home perhaps on a very lucky day with some dodgy reffing, maybe). They've won something like 28/29 at home and scored for fun. We couldn't even get a draw at West Brom when we were on a crest of a wave, let alone Bolton or Blackburn when they were on a slump.

When we were there in force to play Fulham who hadn't won at home this season we shipped six, when Chelsea had a makeshift defence and all our players were saying they were up for it we also shipped six where we got ripped to shreds.

Forget City. Theyve displayed no nerves at home all season. man Utd didn't have a shot on target. They are the best team by far in the Prem this season.

May these words come back to haunt me.

When West Ham flirted with relegation, they were not supposed to take anything at Man Utd on the last day of the season, but they did with a certain Mr Zamora setting up Tevez, Anton Ferdinand was playing as well.

Yes we should get battered and probably will based on the gutless, clueless attempt in SW London last Sunday, but sometimes things happens you cant explain and Mark Hughes will want to poke them in the eye.

Very different circumstances. Man Utd had already won the league, had nothing to play for, deckchairs out etc and benched the likes of Ronaldo, Giggs, Vidic and Scholes. Hence Warnock going ballstic in public at Fergie for playing a weakened side.

City are going to need a win.

Oh how sweet would that be, Cisse one two with Zamora, Cisse scores the goal that keeps us up. Memories are made of this.

If Man City loose to Newcastle and Man Utd beat Swansea at the weekend, Man City will not have much to play for if Man Utd are winning 2, or 3-0 at Sunderland the following week.

Lots of ifs I know, but we should already be down...... but were not.

not a chance of us getting anything there...never gonna happen. Just have to hope we beat Stoke and that will be enough

And....by chance, MU also got to buy Tevez two months later!

                          The one ray of light

If Citeh only need a win, I can see them getting a goal up (first minute) and then going super defensive to protect it. Mancini's mindset will rule.

At least they shouldn't damage the goal difference too badly, even if they play defensive we will still ship a right few.

Had a dream that we beat City 2-0 on the last day...but Matthew Connolly scored?!?! When does his loan at Reading end again?
