  • What happens if...

...the teams that finish 17th and 18th both have equal points, GD and total goals scored?

  • #2
I presume it goes to the head to head score, so if its Bolton and us, Bolton win 5-1 (4 -0 and 1-1)
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

Then it goes down to goals that were over the line and not given in games between the two sides involved.

It should go down to the goal that was never given.

The FA will come up with some lame reason that we should have a point deduction for last seasons shananigins?!

I'm sure the FA will ask their very own Phil Gartside what he feels is the fairest way to decide....

FA - "What do you think would be fair Phil"
PG - "Whoever's based furthest North should stay up"
                  FA - "Ok thanks Phil"

                      Check the link
                      http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/f...me-points.html

It applies to winning the league but presumably same rules apply to separating teams for relegation.

ATM we are 1 goal behind Bolton on goals scored - think of the ramifications if we were relegated by 1 goal not scored

the Ramifactions should already be there! we were robbed of that game one point each instead of 3 to bolton and none to us..is absolutley massive going into the last 2 games...i am surprised that more is not being made of this in the press. but its only QPR so no one cares.
