Best player we have = Djibril Cisse.
Player of the Year = Clint Hill / Jamie Mackie / Adel.

Thats my opinion anyways. Have better players than my 3 suggestions, but consistently over the course of the season, Id say those 3 have come out best and contributed the most.

Matty has that spot on, but Clint gets my ultimate vote for player of the season.

Good shout mate I forgot him. Has his critics but, IMO, been a good servant for us this year and had some blinding games (as well as some crap 1s too but so has eveyrbody- thats expected in a struggling side).

Out of Mackie or Hill for me, both have made the step up to the PL and have been our best players this season.

Clint has had some great games recently but i am surprised that people are talking of him being player of the year when he has only started 14 league games and 3 as sub !!!!

I would of thought Helguson would be up there if we are not worried about how many games they played but my vote will go to Mackie. He isnt the most talented player we have but he shows the most passion and makes things happen with his non stop running and harrassing.

Not many candidates in a dreadful season but I'd go for Clint and HH. It's not about the number of matches they've played it's what they've contributed when on the pitch. Heidar 9 goals from 14 starts, a fantastic achievement. Most of our so called Premier League players have let us down big time. Merceneries living on past reputations. I won't be sorry to see them go.
