Amazing that everyone's vote for poty is for players we already had and were part of our championship winning side.
Shows better wages doesn't make you a better player also just because someone is originally from the prem it doesn't make them a better player than someone new to the prem.

Its been like two seasons in one so v hard. Helguson and Faurlin have now been virtually forgotten but if you had asked at the half way stage those two wd have been miles ahead of every other player imo and even now you can't ignore their contribution. But agree for the second half - or more accurately the final third - it wd have to be clint or anton.

Well to be fair Facto, he did put a foot wrong after about 3 mins and broke it.... never to be seen again.

Everyone's going on about Hill / Mackie, and yes they have had a great impact of late, particularly Hill who has been excellent in CB, whereas Mackie for me still runs blindly into people and down dead ends and rarely gets his head up for a simple pass, Arsenal to Diakite being the only exception.

Diakite has also been exceptional in that time also, bar fulham, but he is a real gem.

If Cisse had not been banned for 7 matches and had early bath in the 2 he got the red, he may have had 10+ goals and already have cemented himself as a Rangers legend, but he hasn't.

However, for me Faurlin should get it. Two main reasons. He played half the season, probably more starts than Hill and not many less than Mackie i expect, and for most games was the standout player by far.

Also, he will be busting a gut in recovery, and imagine what a lift it will give him as he continues that recovery in the coming months if he's been named player of the year. It could be just the lift he needs to help continue his progress while other players go on hols etc and he still has to graft to get back to fitness.
