I just pray that it will not come that close on the final day as I am not expecting us to take something from Man City. Its no use suggesting how we play, who will play etc etc, its the players on the pitch that must show what are they made of. Tonight is key as Spurs must beat them, and as they are back to winning ways, i think they will.

That then just means no matter what Bolton do in their next game, we just have to beat Stoke to be in front of them on the last day. I don't say "just" beat Stoke as if to suggest it will be a given, because it certainly isn't, but for us to have any hope of staying up we have to beat them, so for any debate let's assume we will.

If we can go ahead early against Stoke and that info gets back to the Reebok then it will add prssure on them and it's no certainty they'll get anything from West Brom who are a good side away from home. But even if they won it wouldn't be a disaster.

If those things happen and we both go into the final game level, we would have a positive gd of about 8 by my reckoning, which would be enough (hopefully) to overcome any potential City roasting, but for it to not matter, they would need to lose to Stoke on their patch, which is again very feasible.

All hinges on tonight when they play Spurs. If Spurs win, i'll be quietly confident of staying up.

Despite it looking like an attacking line up it simply wasn't - two holding mids in Barton and Derry, sitting just behind the snail paced Buzz, with Cisse imitating a winger as well as he did before he joined us (1 goal in 48 games was it) and no goal scoring centre forward to collect the knock downs and flicks that BZ failed to produce.
The only time we showed any desire as an attacking force was when Buzz went off, Traore came on and we went with 2 up top.

Even if it did, City will win it comfortably no matter what 11 they put out. This is because QPR have been very poor in most away games since November. They can't defend and are almost non existant as an attacking force.

Can even the most optimistic of fans see how QPR will defend against the likes of Tevez, Aguero, Silva, Nasri, Johnson, Toure, Ballotelli or Dzeko whichever is chosen to play?

For me the best they could hope for is to adopt a policy of packing the penalty area and a 'have it' clear it as far away from goal attitude from start to finish (something they should have tried against Chelsea on a soaking wet pitch).

QPR really need Spurs to beat Bolton tonight by at least 2 goals, and for QPR to beat Stoke and hope that WBA can at least draw at Bolton on Sunday.

If you went by the "impressiveness" of names written down there wouldnt ever be an upset in football would there. Sunderland managed to beat them, would you say they would be able to beat them before the game?

I agree, its very unlikely we will get anything from this game, but not impossible as you are making it out to be. All the pressure is on them, they are expected to have a routine win.

Regardless of quality of players on paper, anything can happen in football when the pressures on. We will be fighting like theres no tomorrow and you cant put a price on how important that fight in a team is.
