I remember Micky Droy playing in the Kingstonian v Tooting and Mitcham (cant remember who for) he picked the ball up in defense and just ran through the middle of the pitch without anyone getting anywhere near him. That was a funny sight, a bit like Jona Lomu in the rugby.

but they were all good lads back then working class done well for them selfs and didnt mind a chat geed bestie up one in the phesantry club on the kings road about not being as good as "rodney" f-- me if he didnt agree with me and got "his minder "to by me a drink, class act
