        ....................Kenny........................

        Onouha.....Ferdinand.....Hill......Taiwo..

        Taarabt......Barton.....Diakite.....Traore

        ............Cisse.........Zamora/HH.........

Drop Mackie to the bench to be used him as impact sub if needed.

        Bring in Traore to LW

Switch Tarbs to the right (with freedom to roam when in possession).

Play either HH or BZ up front with Cisse.

        Keep the same back 5.

Agree with this especially Traore on LW, But Taarabt helping out against Bale would be a huge worry

I know and it would require a disciplined performance from Adel, but his pace could be useful in helping Onuoha keep tabs on Bale. His defensive side has improved of late.

The whole point of that formation would be that Onohua and Traore push forward more so that it keeps Walker and Bale on the back foot

Although I do agree with this point, I think we need to worry less about Tottenhams game and go for it with our own strengths. We need the win.

Agree... let them worry about what Taraabt, Cisse, Zamora, Diakite, Barton and Traore (if he plays on the wing) can do....

They will be really edgy after recent results and we need to be on the front foot pressuring them into mistakes from the first whistle....

Your right Matty, especially with us at home. We should be taking the game to Spurs but the thought of Bale getting a free run at Onouha has to come into Hughes thinking

                          ----------Kenny-------
                          Onouha-Ferdinand-Hill-Taiwo
                          ---Mackie-Diakite-Barton---
                          ----------Taarabt-------
                          -------Zamora-Cisse------

Mackie and Barton to shift out wide occasionally, while Diakite stays back unless he has the ball he could attack their defence. Tarbs behind the 2 strikers is the position he has said he prefers, and he played their last season so why not? Cisse to partner Zamora upfront, he's ready to come back and start, we need him badly.
When Spurs are attacking (which they probably will do for a lot of the match) Diakite can join the back 4 to make it 5 in defence while off the ball.

It would be utter madness NOT to start Cisse. We must win today and Cisse is the only player we have who can score goals!!
