If you want atmosphere best place in the ground is X may not always be as loud as q p r blockw but at least the away fans can hear us and you get some decent banter!Comment

I sat in X block against Sunderland (albeit row B) and was surrounded by 8 year olds in half n half scarves and I had a right plank behind me calling Faurlin "that useless German bloke". Needless to say this experience has led to me trying other blocks
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Comment

i was in the back rows in the x block for years, often we were the only people in the x block but the banter we had with the away end was always good. I returned briefly for the wigan game. one year when we played burnley i remember us chanting Engerland at the away end and one lad lost the plot so badly screaming I am farking english he started rolling down the staircase with the stewards.Comment

I usually sit in the Q block, great atmosphere in the Q, P and R blocks
We're Queens Park Rangers and we always do things the hard way!

thats it! might have even been a friday night game?? i think one of the stewards was a large bird with dreads who enjoyed the tussle a little bit too much. That was in the days when the head steward for the x block was a fat bird with short peroxide blonde hair and looked like she was on hormone replacement tablets, we used to call her Vicky Pollard. Back then the stewards would throw us out on a regularly, I lasted all of 10mins once at a game against barnsley i think before getting chucked out. The insult to injury was that I even missed only goal (Rowlands) due to queueing at the turnstile.Last edited by willis1980; 04-04-2012, 03:30 PM.Comment

remember singing to him " you get run by stewards, you get run by stewards"!! lol was it the game where Andy Cole got the winners? think we was either 1-0 or 2-0 up but he either got a hat trick or a double to win it?!Comment
-
cant remember if that was the same game, but I do remember Cole getting a hat trick against it when he was well passed his sell by date.Comment

Also in PU for the Swansea game. It's also the first time I've been in the Loft for 25+ years! in the last 12 months I have sat in all 4 sides of the ground.Comment

Best X block memory was a coupel of years back when we played Reading.
Ben Watson got sent off for taking a free-kick too quickly and there fans were giving it big style. Buzsaky curled the retaken free-kick straight in and some ginger Reading lad who was offering everyone out before got so much stick he tried to get at our fans - ended up thrown out and we smashed 'em 4-0 or 4-1.. even Vine scored!
PU is decent enough - standing which I like.Comment
