Fans and players clash after Bolton defeat – Monday diary

The QPR squad became involved in unsavoury scenes at Euston station on Saturday night as fans travelling back from Bolton abused the players for their recent performances.

Reading through this thread it does surprise me how few fans realise this is typical behaviour from QPR fans.

That was only when the team were under performing about 2-3 years ago! And it was hardly any abuse if I remember rightly.

Players need to realise in this day and age that if fans are going to follow their club home and away and see performances which are not deserving of the shirt, then they are going to have to expect some stick. They love the adulation when it comes to winning things like last season, but this season sadly too many of them have under performed and quite understandably some fans won't accept that.

I do find it peculiar at times that some fans just accept poor performances from players and will always clap them, but each to their own. I will always clap if i think a player has tried his best for the club and the fans. Too often this season I have seen performances which are not deserving of my applause. I support the club, I certainly don't support the players if they under achieve.

Fitz Hall wanted to have a ruck, BE fronted someone , and 100 people singing you're not fit to wear the shirt at most of the players would seem a bit like abuse

things changed when the baby bentleys and sports cars became the norm not the exception at qprfc! that's why they wouldn't walk past, walking belittles them...
in the past we had some access on the train with players, now it's a wall of security, why?

If I was a QPR player I wouldn't want to be bothered by Pissed up fans on the train home after a match.... I've witnessed the sort of ******** fans talk to players if I was them I would avoid like the plague.

i think this whole situation has become really exagerated,so what if around three thousand qpr thugs threw a ring around the station and refused to let the players leave
then each and every one of them left there famous black schott jackets lying
in a heap
and each and every one of them left theRe famous ginger toupees laying in a pile
this dosnt surprise me one bit,our fans are so hard,its unberleivable,i know many qpr fans now own cuckoo clocks and are being prescribed the same medication as our great leader factomondo
