Champs next season is that bad?

Oh well if we go down is it that bad?
Some of the older posters on here can remember being in the top flight for season, after season, but let's be honest the champs has been our home for most of the last 15 years.
In the prem we get f**kall decisions,as today can verify and we are very small fish in with a load of sharks. As long as we don't go bust we'll be happy won't we?
Btw i think i know where MH is going wrong,.....he just said all we want is a fair wicket

Too be fair we wasn't expecting to stay up at the start of the season so we haven't really lost anything.

Its now a question of linning up a manager in the summer to build a squad hopefully bouncing back up.

I can remember being in the old first division in the 70s, never mind the 80s/90s.
Somehow, this premiership is certainly a very different animal, and not one I would laud for a micro second.
I know it sounds kinda perverse, but I will be glad to get back to the relative sanity of the championship. A more honest league than this SKY SPORTS nightmare.

And at least we won't have to listen to that f**king awful Premier League tune when the players come out onto the pitch. Just plain and simple pigbag thank you very much.

I would give everything to stay up. We are clearly inexperienced as a PL team this time around but still going back to the Championship is nothing to aim for. Horrified thinking about the seasons just after we relegated from the PL the last time. We were the laughing stock of the championship.....not even close at getting back up and look at how many years we have been in lower leagues prior to this season.......

I'm looking forward to the championship. Said we would come straight back down anyway.

Let's hope and pray that there's some more mugs out there, apart from QPR.

You reckon? Who is going to pay Barton 80k a week on a four year contract? It will be Agyman revisited, just for much, much higher stakes.

But could we though? No Premiership team would want them, I think we are stuck with them for the next 4 years or whatever their contracts are for, they could be playing for us in League 2 if the worst happens and still on 80k per week or whatever they are on!

Not my aim at all, the championship. But, have to accept that fate, the FA, cheating oppo players, our useless over-paid twonks, are all conspiring to ensure we make a swift return.
Besides, having been up close to this modern premiership, can't say I like what I've seen, no sireeeeeeeee.

What i don't get with Joey, and i'm sure i'm not alone is, he puts in so much effort and he does get himself around the pitch, so commitment is there but he seems to have lost the ability to pass the ball, not just hollywood passes but simple ones too.
                          So frustrating to watch him.
