  • How costly will that miss be come may ?

I personally would have took a point before the game but i just hope that 2 points dropped dont bite us in the #### at the end of the season.

anyway we looked better today onwards and upwards.

Could be very costly. One thing is for sure, we are gonna need to beat at least 2 of the big boys to stay up!

Why will we have to beat 2 of the big boys, how do you know all those below are going to win their games, they aren't winning either at the moment ?

Gutted not to win but at least we showed signs of fight, throw in Cisse and maybe Diakite next week and weve every chance of a win. The run in is a worry but lets take one game at a time and hope the rest keep slipping up.

No we won't. Why make such bold statements as fact. There will be a really low tally to survive this season imo, besides, the teams below us play big teams also and will also lose against them, like we will more than likely do.

Either way if we do go down there will be countless things throughout the season we will look at that cost us, including today's miss. Almost the same as HH against Wigan away when the ball came back off the post and he fell over the ball and missed an open goal.

Yeah but with teams around us being so abject it's really galling we keep spurning opportunities to put a decent gap between us and them AND also give likes of Villa something to fret about. Any onlooker would be thinking crikey! Do any of them actually want to stay up???

Well maybe "big boys" was the wrong terminology. We are definitely gonna have to beat at least 2 top half of the table sides.

A win at Bolton and then home to Swansea and Stoke and we would survive just about, low 30's will be enough ! And that is definitely achievable if we play like we did today.

Do you really believe that 3 more wins will be enough? A couple of sides at the bottom always start picking points up towards of the end of the season. I agree that sides may stay up with a low points total this year but surely we need to be thinking about 35 points at least.

                        Think we need 35 points.

Beat Bolton, Swansea and Stoke and get draws against Sunderland, West Brom, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Know quite a few **** fans and i would never let them live it down, also AVB getting the sack, not qualifying for europe, JT being made guilty and chucked out the England squad for good then us surviving the drop and it would top off a very good year. I'd go as far as saying an accomplishment.
