why joking about Stewart? My starting line up would be connolly and gorkks, however there is no doubt whatsoever that Stewart would be next in line - not hall. Stewart got our player of the year, deserveadly so. He may not be the most composed but he will always clear his lines and will dominate in the air. He will also get some vital goals. Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

oh come on, the lad is premiership material - just lol? stewart is a poor defender, being able to hoof a ball up the field does not mean a good thing, he panics way too much his positioning leaves is awful and id also like to see the stats on how many goals weve conceded when stewart plays. granted u r right about the goals, hes good with his head but i dont think thats enough.Comment

If hall is premiership quality, why wasnt he playing last year? Stewart was a rock at the back, and one of the main reasons we had one of the best defences in the division last year. When hall plays, we concede far more goals, and he wins nothing in the air! Agaisnt premiership teams, he is composed as he has time on the ball - but the fact is that we are in the championship - and we need players at the back who are going to get long balls away, and clear their lines. Stewart didnt get player of the year for nothing. At the end of the day, the defence is paid to get the ball away - not to look pretty on the ball.
