We've always had a boo boy in the side for as long as I can remember.

I remember Tony Scully getting booed so badly that he lost his confidence.
The list is endless and too many to name, but thats why we always play better away than home.

I get the whole "we pay our money, we can boo if we want to" but why shell out that money to boo your players? Surely you go wanting us to win and cheer the team on?

Fans didnt turn on Barton or SWP when they first arrived. We gave them time to find their feet. But after contstantly watching them fail to perform they have to expect the fans to be a little peed off. I actualy like Barton but im beginning to tire of watching him give the ball away time and time again. And this is the man who believes he should be in the England team!

And while we are on the subject i thought the effort put in by 'England International striker' Bobby Zamora on saturday was shocking. He has robbed us of a weeks wage because he didnt come to work this week.

Apologies thought you meant the team as a whole. Mackie I think has done very very well this year. Yes, plenty of times has run like a headless chicken straight into defenders and looked totally outclassed in some games, but the lad never gives up and has chipped in with a few vital goals for us (which is more than can be said for alot of our players!). He might not have the techincal ability of some of the players but he has been more important to us this year than alot of the "better" palyers purely due to his commitment to the cause and his work rate.

Zamora, IMO, is a good player. Saturday aside, he will be a good signing for us and when we get Cisse back, them 2 up top will be the best strike force we have had for years.

barton doesn't make as much of a difference during a game as i expected or hoped but what really got me annoyed on saturday was that he moaned at Taarabt EVERY TIME he had a shot in the 1st half. What does he think Taarabt should do when he is 20yrds out?? Pass it?? Taarabt 1 of few who is willing to have a shot and has the confidence to do so even though he hasn't scored this season (that must change surely!!)
