    There were plenty around at the time (although admittedly mainly bitter Hammers fans) that suggested/warned he might not be all he promised.

    Time will tell, and for the time being he has backed up his words with actions.

      Not a hope of this being true, of he'd already missed payments they would have raised this as a major issue before letting him buy players last month.

      Secondly TF is a social networking guru, this would have serious negative impacts on his other business models and would put him seriously in the firing line

              The clubs are not in trouble , they are just being asked to pay taxes on what they have previously avodied.

              All the clubs these days use investment banks to help them avoid tax. Arsenal for example uses Barclays Capital...

                Bernie is only interested in the **** because he heard SB costs a pound. He wouldn't pay any more than that.
