Like I say, he wasn't at fault for any of the goals, unlike Hall and Kenny.

How many times have we had to endure Hill aimlessly hoofing the ball forward only to immediately concede possession, something you simply can't afford to do at this level. What use is it being a good defender if you have poor distribution or lack the skill and ability to play your way out of trouble? Traore doesn't have that weakness.

i'm basing my comments on the season as a whole and what i've seen of tawio to date....you can throw young, hall and gabbidon in there...clint hill is a better defender than all those

i would play Hill in the center of our Defense every day of the week above Gabbidon, Hall and Ferdinand, maybe he is not as quick then those mentioned but he will make sure that forwards of our opponents can't order a meal and wait to be served when receiving the ball.
And he doesn't lose as many challenges like others do.
Nowhere near that a smaller guy would outclass him in an arial challenge.

And we are in the middle of dogfight right now, we need a no nonsense defender more then ever.
We need bravery now , not little kittens who are scared to challenge.

So in god knows how many appearances that is his total attacking contribution.

Traore has created numerous opportunities including yesterday. Tawio has played three times set up Mackies first yesterday and the go against Villa.

Was just pointing out he set up a goal when you stated he offers nothing going forward

Taiwo did not really do anything wrong except not scoring with that shot from the wing.
Admittedly he is a bit hesitant on the ball but I put that down to him finding his way here. I think he is worried that for a powerful guy going in with a tackle could get him his marching orders like dopey Cessi. He is deff getting better game by game.

He has not made any more mistakes than Clint Hill would. He brings much more than Hill does he looks to play the ball to feet, he moves forward and has the pace to move forward , 2nd half of the game yesterday he looked like he was getting into our style of play and he set up a goal .
