The thing about international management is it has a very particular kind of nature compared to club management - a good analogy would be fast food versus a big slow-cooked sunday roast. The manager doesn't have enough time with the players to start teaching them this or that or start putting good habits into place, he's got to grab the best ingredients available, give them a quick scrub and and whip up the best dish he can ASAP. Harry and Hiddink are past masters at this, whereas Capello (one of the best league managers of all time) was completely unsuited to the role outside of plotting a long grim qualifying campaign against inferior sides.

Quite, I'd like a good international manager, the nationality doesn't matter. Communication with the players however is important, so good English would be needed, although some English managers struggle with this......

We've been alternating between home and foreign managers for years, and as long as we're inferior to foreign ones, it will continue.

Didn't Hiddink just fail with the Turkish national team? and apparently blamed them for it?
They're set up or something?
As for England manager.....? maybe try what countries like Wales or Croatia have done young managers not long finished playing, Pearce, Shearer,Adams? along those lines

Harry will take the job. He's half a bad season away from the sack at the latter end of his career. A 4 year contract as England manager will polish off a good record as a popular manager. He will also go down in football history.
