Our captain, Joey Barton has a lot to answer for. He set the precedent for retaliation, at least Cisse has apologised but Barton never did. He did it then and he'd do it now. That's the neanderthal way. For all his fondness for Neitzche and the great philosophers, he remains a thug at heart, and that makes it acceptable for the rest of the team to behave accordingly. Even were he to be a great footballer, this would not exonerate his temperament and expression. For QPR to survive this season and stay up, he's got to go. Game after game, tweet after stupid tweet, he gives every reason for his dismissal. My only worry is, just like Tevez, no one else wants this expensive and hubristic ****.

Joey, is the captain and an influential figure. It was become of him that Adel got such short shrift in the first part of the season. He's the classic alpha-male full of bristling defensive bravado. He's not the kind of character you want as your captain. He legitimises retaliation and is jealous of talent in others. Warnock made him captain because Warnock was a coward, lets hope Hughes shows more mettle.

Obviously not to blame for Cisse and probably doesnt help playing with Derry BUT at the same time you cant blame the other players for his poor passing and constantly giving the ball away and we have been punished at least 3 times this seasonOriginally posted by rangerforevereastcote View Postwebbie go back and read my comments about joey , im defo not the leader of his fan club but to blame hi for cisse sending off outfknrageous

I blame Wolves' 1976 team that crumbled against Liverpool and lost us the league. How different it all could have been if we won the league that year.Originally posted by mat72 View PostHow boring and predictable...Let's blame Barton.

We could have been England's version of Barcelona.(sigh) if only.

What makes me laugh is very few people were against us signing him. I don't think he ever claimed to be a world beater, he's a decent player, albeit one that's not in the best of form. We certainly ain't seen the best of him, then again he has spent most of the season in a pretty average team. Then again this is Rangers and we always have to have one or two players to #### off week in week out..Barton is Innocent ok....
