Barton was very poor at the basic skills. He has no vision, he always takes the safe option with his passing, and even then he too often gives the ball away. I'd drop him, he's a liability.

Right I have had enough of Barton... I have stuck by him all season and thought he can turn it round and prove us wrong. but against a team like Wolves you still cant perform that is it for me I am done. Bring home Samba Diakite or play Traore there even he was better than that tweet happy wannabe playmaker!

You people just don't like the guy, if he scored a screamer you'd say it was down to someone else. Yes he was poor today but you only ever mention his wayward passes, never the good passes or tackles. Mackie has been poor every game but some just love him, Derry is well out of his depth and SWP has done hardly anything but it's all down to Barton. I suppose these are good on FIFA 12 though.

Name a good pass that he has made this season? there is a reason that only his bad passes get mentioned.... Because that is all he has done this season!

People see what they want to see. If you don't rate a player you only ever see the negatives. This was his worst game by far today, but I still thin k he's a good player who we need. Who would you replace him with?
