  • Cisse the biggest signing ever?

Just been thinking, Cisse has got to be the biggest named striker we have signed in our history.Mark Hateley was a big name arrival but i think i'm right in saying Cisse is still a current international isn't he?
Normally we're left on the sidelines watching everyone else make the big signings.QPR unrecognizable as a club!!!

Not so sure about that. When we re-signed Clive Allen that was pretty big. Roy Weagerle? Gary Bannister? (Don't mention Mike Sheron). Big, big signing for us tho.

I can remember the West London printing industry going into meltdown when the demand for "Lomas" shirts went through the roof upon his signing.

          Super Steve.

Me neither mate. The episode of The Bill that night was an absolute classic, who'd have thought it was the mother behind the thefts from her own kids eh?

Yeah good point mate I had forgotten Allen but then he had beeen ours before,....but yeah I suppose he was pretty big, thought Bannister was a bit journey man, but no denying he was fantastic for us.
Wegerle I looked at as a reserve who couldn't get regular games at the ****.

Remember it well. Like something off Jeremy Kyle.

Almost as exciting as the day we signed Bankole.exciting times they were.
