Surely it makes no sense for Blackburn to keep a hold of Samba now.
If this was one of our players he would never be able to play for us again...... would he?
Realise BR are trying to get a bidding war going so hope he wants to work for Hughes again.

sounds almost as if we are willing to smoke him out for spurs and then take bassong. but runs the risk tho of losing out on bassong two windows running if the unpredictable blackburn board dont play the game.

I know we had the NW sacking but I find it a tad irksome that we're scrabbling around for decent signings at this late stage of the window. Would've been nice to have gotten it all boxed off weeks ago and have any new signings ready for Villa game.

No ones willing to sell til the end though mate unless you pay big bucks. Everyone knew we needed strengthening and were desperate so they whack the prices up at the beginning of jan. now with the window closing selling clubs lose their bargaining power and deals are done.
