Cost of the land would be so expensive, as would building the multi use facilities. As someone who works in real estate finance, I can tell you that financing this sort of development won't be easy. QPR won't have the cash to pay, and would we feel happy about becoming tenants of one of Fernandes' companies? He may get fed up, he may get bought out. Where would that leave us, at the very least it would leave us not in control of our own destiny. We got out of jail previously by borrowing £10m from ABC but that was secured against our own land. I doubt we would be able to do something like that again, as or only assets would be players.
