  • Alex to snub QPR for £4million PSG switch

Chelsea defender Alex is set to snub QPR to rejoin his former Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti at Paris Saint-Germain.

The Brazilian has spent six weeks of internal exile at Stamford Bridge, after being banished to the reserves' building by Andre Villas-Boas for making an official transfer request.

Tbh I'd rather have a player who wants to play for us.

Alex wants to play for money right?

Yes must be the money if he is choosing PSG over QPR.

Have to agree I would rather Alex didn't sign if he doesn't want to play for the club, no point having quality players who don't actually want to play for you.

I'm sure there was something in the media last week regarding Alex wanting more money.

They could be playing the 'PSG want him game' to try make us up our offer

Its turning out that it could be another interesting deadline day for QPR. I think its time for us to go for realistic players like Snodgrass,Maynard,Bassong etc.

PSG don't need central defenders. This could be his agent trying to talk his contract up.

Silly comment Myu all players play for money otherwise they wouldn't milk clubs for all they can and transfers would happen quick and smoother!

I still think the story about the medical has some feasibility. One of the problems is that there is very little transfer activity so the newspapers are just reporting anything they hear.

Not to mention Alex stating himself that he wants to stay in London. I think this will happen but after the game this weekend.

Hope you're right. Would improve the defence significantly.
