What makes you think that Adel will work hard under a manager who has not won anything?

Hopefully, for the following reasons:

He could flourish under hughes' tutilage I think. At the end of the day when players like Adel were young, Hughes was a striker who was regarded by everyone as a class act who demanded respect. Any current attacking player would surely relish the chance to work for him and learn from him.

Perhaps knowing that he's going to be in a highly focused environment, run by one of the influential strikers of the 80's and 90's will make him man up and fulfill his rather vast potential.

Signing Taiwo will have been a big deal for Adel, he's an international name and Marseille legend and that's the sort of bracket of player Adel likes to see himself in. Keep feeding his ego like this and we'll have a player.

Incidentally that Kojo Asamoah in the Nike ad is a brill player and one we should maybe go for if we stay up this summer.

Like it or not there will genuinely be people all around the world who'll only have heard of QPR because of Adel Taarabt and his flicks and tricks. If Fernandes really wants to build us up as a club abroad then it's your Adels and Henriques that are going to catch the eye of the Xbox generation.

In my life time of supporting us I can not think of one player who has been in a advert for such a big company. Also if Nike have signed him up as one of their players, look at the names on Nikes books who he joins! Massive exposure for Adel, and also us.
