Not sure how blackburn can keep a player who doesn't want to play and has effectively gone on strike. Still think he'll go to spurs though. Think being out of relegation zone will help and hunch is we'll get a couple in this week. We're an attractive option, location of course but also ambitious manager combined with a board that comes across as very professional.

They seem to be doing better without him.

I don't think we'll get Alex or Onhurabut I have a feeling we'll get Samba on deadline day for about £10m! Madness I know....

Samba has had his head turned by someone, one minate happy not talk of leaving, being a model professional and then the next puts in a transfer request and at the moment and being a disruptive influance and dropped.

This only happens if he knows there is a bigger offer out there waiting and with a club that is either in the top 4 or working with someone he knows and likes.

The question here is if Blackburn are close to not being able to pay the wages at the end of the month due to the bank not extending their overdraft, Blackburn are risking him leaving for nought becuase if they fail to pay the players wages within a set period of time then the player can issue them with a breach qand leave for free. If thats the case they could well easily sell on the last day to get the money in, if not and they are in trouble they are playing a dangerous game.

Wouldnt surprise if he ended up being a United or Liverpool player.

Is there really much better CB´s out there, I wonder?

Is he is "on strike" do they have to pay him?

Blackburn playing a very dangerous game, player power is very much alive in moden day football and it would be a real risk to play a player whoose heart is not in it. That and their money problems will almost certainly force a sale hopefully to us if we still need CB by then.

Samba going on strike? Personally I think he shows his current club no respect. Seems to me he will do the same to us if a bigger club comes knocking.

It's the venkys. They have screwed the players and staff over.

I know what you mean, but when you want to leave a club after you've been a great pro for that club, and then the club turn round & say no it's hard to take
                      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                      And many more mistakes

God i hope today at least 2 new signings get confirmed. Things look so much brighter today after gaining 3 points Saturday, but a couple of new faces adds more expectation and excitement.
Wouldn't it be brilliant to unveil Alex against Chelski.
                            He could even start.
                            Scrub that thought.
No way will they want us to strengthen using one of tier ex players before the cup game against them.

Heard the stumbling block here is we pay £3-4 Mill and then he wants in his contract that he can leave on a free if we are relgated? not a good deal for us

If he wants that deal he can continue to train with the Chelsea womens team... I'd expect a clause to be 2.5m if we got relegated... Amit and co will look at that deal and laugh... May not be football people but they are not stupid
