    Hughes press conf

MH just said in press conference that regards Samba deal we are aware that time in the window is running out and basically said we will not hang around forever for Blackburn.
Talks ongoing with Alex as Ric has said, for the moment.

He wouldn't name any but seemed quite relaxed over the whole situation.
Hinted we have a number of targets which is to be expected and i felt he was sending a message to Steve Kean

                    Cheers Dave.

Kean if it was up to him would never sell regardless of price for obvious reasons. We've just gotta hope the owners of BRFC smell the cash & come calling. Gut instinct though I can see them holding onto him. Selling him is basically conceding they are going down.

in footballing terms we are, but in financial terms they are as they have some hefty bills to pay to the banks and HMRC by Jan 31st apparently

Also he doesn't want to play for them (transfer request) which could have a detrimental effect on the rest of the team. We have been told that he is not training with the first team and possibly won't play on Saturday. What good does this do them?

How can they possibly manage to pay without selling Samba?
                              Am I thick or something?
