  • Players Bought So Far Into The Championship

Bearing in mind what we have and you cannot have a 50 man squad, have we genuinely missed out on anyone, who could have improved our team?

    I don't think so

Gunter is a better full back than Ramage and can also play at left back.

sir pie u beat me 2 it
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Gunter did not want to play left back, we were in pole position 6 weeks ago. Harry Redknapp is our best contact in the premiership, followed by Alex ferguson;D

id agree with gunter. Although Ramage improved, i dont think he has enough quality on the ball.

Pete are you really saying that Gunter (Forest), Cox (WBA) and Fox (Celtic?) would not strengthen QPR FC in the areas we need strengthening. I really worry about you sometimes.

I'd have tarabt over Cox anyday of the week.,even playing striker.

                  Swindon or Spurs no brainer.

Yes, Cox would have been a good aqcuistion, but was a risk. Celtic, last time I looked were not in the championship

I'm not too worried about the loss of Cox now in all honesty.

Bit annoyed with Fox and Gunter as we could have done with those two.

I'm also not too worried about getting in another keeper but feel we still need one more striker and obviously the full backs situation needs to be sorted.

These games against Wycombe and Oxford could prove very useful in terms of trialists and youngsters

Pete - Taarabat is a midfielder.
Cox is a striker straight out of the Ian Wright mould and would have been no risk at all. Nearly as crazy as saying MM of Chelsea is not good enough for QPR.

Do you think Beckford of Leeds would be a rick as well ?

I wonder what would have happened if we took the same attitude when we bought Les Ferdinand?

Oh know he plays for Hayes we shouldn't sign him because there is another player available from a higher league.

I shall stick my neck out and say i don't think MM is good enough.

Honestly have never really rated him. His performance for Wolves against us sort of justified that.

It's all a matter of opinion

TBH I have never seen Gunter play, so I dont see what all the hysteria is about not getting him........ 1.75m is a lot of money for a fullback in the Championship who isnt really proven yet. I would prefer Spurr/Fox, if I were speculating I would like to give that Mattock a go......
