Point totals to stay up last 10 years

Just took a look at the prem website and the totals below kept you up.

10/11 = 40
9/10 = 31
8/9 = 35
7/8 = 36
6/7 = 38
5/6 = 35
4/5 = 34
3/4 = 34
2/3 = 43

There was a bit of discussion last night about what we might need I thought perhaps 38 points would do it and that would have done the job 7 times in the last 10years.

i agree that the total will be around the 37/38. its a massive ask and with the present team it might be out of our reach but with a few players in its possible to get there.

Yeah but we needed 7 wins to survive in November..... it's now mid-January and we STILL need 7 wins......
Back in November it did appear doubtful if Bolton/Wigan/Rovers would get 40 points between them and we could be safe on 33 pts. However, they have all upped their game and I'm beginning to think it'll take 40ish pts to survive.

Dont know why but I fancy us. Honestly dont think Hughes would have taken job if he was not 100% sure he had it in him to keep us up. We need to start winning sooner or later beat Wigan and we need six!!
