So a couple of through balls in 90 minutes? For me that's not acceptable. I can't remember him putting in any good crosses from the right wing.
What I do remember is him running into dead ends on a few occasions, yet again. Isn't part of the job of a right winger to put crosses in the box for the strikers?Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.Comment

You must be his Dad or his boyfriend. Great run and ball through in the second half. Other than that 5 seconds he was pretty non existant. As is the case in every game. Should never be starting. He has been doing it almost every game he's played imo..it's just that when one person on here says someone's sh*t somehow everyone agree's with it and it spreads. happens all the time... Mackie is one of our best players At the moment. he is not a headless chicken, he is a vital player for us.
Same old - works hard and decent effort. But he hardly tore Newcastle apart. No crosses/always runs into the man and not past him/poor touch. Nowhere near enough quality for this level.Comment

Like Wilkins said,,works hard but no talentComment

Ok he did not put that many crosses in but he was giving the defenders a hard time on a few occasions unlike the others. He would be a good striker imo rather than a winger. So a couple of through balls in 90 minutes? For me that's not acceptable. I can't remember him putting in any good crosses from the right wing.

Not a massive Mackie fan but he was certainly one of our better players today, if you can't see that then I am not sure what game you were watching.Comment

We'll have to disagree on the merits of Mackie. Ironic how the only club that's shown interest in him this transfer window plays in a lower division. His game is based on kick and rush IMO and that's not good enough.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.Comment

The same game as you mate, so what exactly did Mackie do today that brings you to this conclusion? I'd be genuinely interested to know.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.Comment

Well SWP had a good game today, but Mackie had a better game than the others? Didn't you see how well the centre backs played today? Have a look at the attempts on goal stats the Geordies had.
Sorry, but I have to disagree with your praise of Mackie. I don't think he's good enough at this level.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.Comment

That's close to how I saw it too, except Buzz wasn't too bad, considering he's hardly had any game time.
I really can't get my head around this Mackie-worship stuff. A couple of guys have been singing his praises over his performance today, but they can't say what he actually did, apart from a through ball to Jay.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.Comment
