    Positives and Negatives

Positives-Looked far more organised, 1 shot on target by them speaks volumes. Players showed more desire than of late. Both centre halfs took up better positions, angles and distances. Decent performances by quite a few, including Mackie, and with a bit better finishing and a bit of luck could have got something.

Negatives-Still don't convert enough of our chances affraid neither Helguson, Bothroyd or Macheda is the answer. Derry, Smith looked way out of their depth generally and Hill the same with the ball.

We will be fine bit more time on the training ground and a few good signings nd we will win collect enough points to be safe. Might be a bit defensive away from home but have faith.

Did Helguson and Macheda have a chance? Derry did what we know he can do, he's just not quick enough for premiership football. Hills distribution was shocking and put us under quite a lot of pressure.

Biggest positive is the fact we looked solid and you can see what Hughes and his team are trying to do. If we can get some quality additions in then we will have a good chance. 51 points to pay for

Was pleased with the centre backs today. I thoug they looked pretty good. The Geordies didn't win too much in the air today, and their chances on goal were massively limited.

Didn't know until today that Gabbidon was selected by MH for Wales, so he obviously knows what Gabby can and can't do. Looked ok today.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I agree in a sense that we looked more rigid, but there wasn't enough from todays performance to reassure me we will be safe.
We need traore, taraabt and barton back ASAP and need to add five new faces! We need creativity massively in the centr of midfield.

I don't understand how people can say Mackie is not prem class or that he's sh*t...He was our f*cking best player out there today and showed that not only he works hard but he is talented and gives defenders a tough time..

He played well today. But that is one in how many of the last games? He needs to do it week in week out.

Absolutely agree Mackie was our MOM without a doubt, he is a good squad player and should be kept.

He gives more effort than most of the other players combined. Did well today just needs a bit more class and to be smarter

He has been doing it almost every game he's played imo..it's just that when one person on here says someone's sh*t somehow everyone agree's with it and it spreads. happens all the time... Mackie is one of our best players At the moment. he is not a headless chicken, he is a vital player for us.

Biggest plus for me was Buzsaky. He played very well, passed it superbly and lost the ball once I think. Also tackled and defended well and did one superb corner. Barton in for Derry please.

We don't need to panic, centre midfield, wide player, centre half, left back, goalkeeper and a striker and we will be fine.

Much better organised under Hughes and he will bring in players with pace and ability to replace the journeymen we currently have. Could have got something today but not many expected it. Full weeks training and maybe a couple of signings and we will be ready for Wigan.

How many shots on goal did he have today? How many good crosses did he supply our strikers with? How many through balls did he put in today?

From what I saw today, he left Luke Young dangerously exposed on a number of occasions today.
