QPR boss prepares £5m bid for England goalkeeper

Mark Hughes believes he can tempt Birmingham to part with goalkeeper Ben Foster.

New QPR boss Hughes is preparing a £5million bid for the former England shot-stopper – with Paddy Kenny battling to save his job.

Foster is on loan at West Brom until the end of the season but that deal can be broken if the money offered is high enough.

To be fair I did have a sneaky feeling Hughes wouldnt fancy Kenny as a top prem keeper. We all know he is good and Warnock thinks he is the best, but when you ask people away from QPR not to many people rate him as high as us or warnock.......he is better then Foster though.

Kenny seems out his depth in the Prem.

        Take Foster over him.

Kenny has struggled a little in the Prem

Been a bit slow at times and know his suffered with injuries which aint helped

If we can get a better keeper then so be it

Its only because he has 2 clowns in front of him !!! gabbidon and connolly, hill and hall are not prem quality . A goal keeper can only do so much , new CB before we worry about a GK

Other fans can say what they want about him, I bet none of them have actually seen Kenny play recently, but "just because he plays for QPR he must be sh*t" is what they all say. One of the best goalies in the prem imo. Going back to the bid, £5 mill is ridiculous, should be spending that sort of money on outfield players; specifically a striker or a defender.

Good keeper, younger and probably better than Kenny. Lacking in confidence at the moment but would be a good signing IMO.

So Phil Parkes and David Seamen were *** goalkeepers. Until recently QPR had the best goalkeepers in the country.

Mainly being they have better outfield players to not be tested as much as kenny , no one in the premier league has a worse defence than us im afraid regardless of where we are in the league if you watch us week in and week out you will know that paddy kenny has made some outstanding saves this season and games where we could of been 5 or 6 down if it wasnt for him .
