Intrigueing.... I'm not fussed by Rhodes myself regardless of the hype by others because it makes didly squat difference how many goals someone scores in the 3rd tier of football as to whether they'd be a success in the top flight. Although he may well turn out to be a superstar, there are no guarantees. He's not even done it at Championship level yet, so can;t go along with the thinking he'll be our saviour....

Could it be that Brazilian....?? I would be amazed as thought it was pie in the sky, but Jorabchin had just come back from Brazil before he and Hughes had talks with QPR so who knows what he was there for. WE know TF had spoken with MH before NW was sacked, so maybe discussions about this player or another had started then.

It'll probably be a massive anti climax.... who's this Okaka mentioned earlier who apparently we'd signed according to some...?

I like the idea of the long loan with view to buy you mentioned, sounds like a win win.

Could this be the Marquee signing TF wanted. Also let's not forget it was Hughes who apparently wanted the kid so had obviously done research, and i'm guessing (but don't know) Jorabchin may be his agent, and he was in Brazil just before the discussions at QPR last week.....

If we do bag him, maybe it will help to entice Alex if a fellow national, and a future star at that, was to come. He may take on a bit of a mentor type role....

Its Henrique. Its an 18 month loan deal with a view to a perm. From what I hear he is hot property in Brazil, I've no idea how we've beaten some top European clubs to his signature but not much to lose with the loan deal. Expect us to unveil him tomorrow.
