New Stadium "Kop" Plans

If and when we get a new stadium I think we have a great oppurtunity to have an input on the design.

I think that requesting a 'kop' type stand behind one of the goals which would be an unashamedly non-family stand with some creative thinking around the seating (or lack there of) Basically could we ask for a stand for just our more vociferous fans that we can stand up in?

has to be done. has to be a designated singing/standing area imo. if u dont want to stand or sing, choose from one of the other 3 stands

I'd love a well thought out staduim with the atmousphere taken into consideration. The Emirates is nice, but it's boring and too hard to create noise.

I think we could get away with some kind of high lean against seat which would comply with regulations but allow standing for the most part.

There was an article in WSC last month about standing sections in football grounds, as it stands right now in Scotland it is looking likely Celtic and I think it was Motherwell are looking to introduce "safe" standing areas but in England since the Tayour Report it is a legal requirement that all stadia in the top two flights of English football must be all seated...There is meant to be a private members bill going thru the House of Commons in the spring which is the first step in changing the law but The FA it seems aren't interested in pushing the matter...So I wouldn't hold your breath right now!
Gotta love The FA though haven't ya!
