i dont mind too much either way tbh, although utd are the lesser of the 2 evils for me (purely on the bases that the team got a healthy balance of british talent both young and old).

Thats what happens when you give the Ref a desceion to make, quite often they get it wrong.

Like Barton putting his face in Johnsons (didnt headbutt) Kompany lunged, with 2 feet of the ground, ok his feet were low but were off the ground. Wether you think they were red makes no differance it is what the ref thinks and you have just made him have to decide.

Barton should have not gone forward and Komany didnt need to and shoud not have lunged and both senior enough to know they should not do it either.

The days of hard tackles and a good physical contest are gone i am afraid as the sort is becoming kinda garden stuff.
