What might be possible is that Samba goes to Spurs, Onuoha goes to Blackburn, and Bassong comes to us.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Don't forget we are fighting relegation with them so they maybe reluctant to sell to us.

Derogatory at best. They sold phil jones for 18 million so I think they might hold out for a few sheckles more. He is definetly not 13 million worse. Stuck out like a sore thumb at our place. Wish we could get him but only top wages will bring him to LR. Why announce it too, other clubs know we're getting desperate and willing to spend some dough always a good recipe for an inflated players worth.

Did we announce it or did Blackburn?

So he was... My bad *slaps wrist*.

In that case; we can offer them Vine, Dave & a multipack of BBQ Beef flavour Hula Hoops to make up the difference.

This is how I see it...

We put in a bid for a sought after player that we know wont be accepted and probably wont want to join us...everybody loves fernandes and says look at how ambitious he is...we end up with a very average player and fernandes escapes all blame. Smart.

Not sure what you mean by TF escapes all blame. The footballing side has been left to NW.

The players we've made bids for, or made enquiries on, are hardly sought after. No one is beating down doors for any of them. We've made a bid for Samba, who else has? We've made a bid for Onuoha. So far only Wolves have as well. Where is the stampede for Alex? How about Bridge?

I accept it's early (doors?) in the transfer window, but I'm not sure if there'll be much transfer movement this time around. Fergie himself said today that not many decent players are on offer.

We had supposedly been identifying players and working on bringing them to LR since the end of August.

20% of January has now passed and we appear to have only "started to make offers".

I'm confused. Not that it takes a lot.

I don't think approaches are allowed during the window, hence the delays. NW probably know who his targets are, then it has to go through the agents and the clubs. All this of course takes a bit of time.
