I've been told that we are close to agreeing terms, this is by the same person who said macheda was coming 1 or 2 days before it was announced. But could be just rumours...

You're seriously not going by the 'market movers' are you?! It's an absolute money spinner for the bookies and they use it like the manager markets they run!

A drop in the odds and suddenly everyone comes to the conclusion it's a done deal, the bookies shorten managers to take the money! How many different managers do you see at 1/4 for a post, then suddenly another comes in from 25/1 to 3/1 and gets hammered all day until he's 1/4, then another.....

As for Onouha, he's a good player but this would have been wrapped up in August if he wanted the move, he obviously wants to be close to his mother so i hope we respect that. I highly doubt we'd get the best out of him in this current situation anyway.

I know exactly how he feels & I hope his mum gets better
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

She was of course the subject of the distasteful e-mail exchange that led to Man City's chief exec, Gary Cook, having to resign.

You could charter a jet or a chopper for a few grand to go to the North West from London. Given the club are prepared to pay about 50k a week and a transfer fee and he is a priority signing don't think the distance will be an issue that couldn't be overcome.

                The chopper idea is ridiculous!

What happens if his mum takes a turn for the worse? A chopper to and from training everyday?

As i said, his mind is on other things at the moment and as much as i'd like him here i don't think we'd get the best out of him with this situation.

Sorry, but it's hardly that ridiculous. Les Ferdidnand used to fly his own chopper to the North West for training when he lived in the South and played for Bolton. Beyond that, it's the standard form of fast and easy travel for many directors and club owners going to away games.

Les Ferdinand would have been training once or twice a week when he was at Bolton not 5 days a week. Do you think Nedum would enjoy all that flying back and too? Hardly.

The chopper idea is not a bad solution as it has been done before by other people and it will not be permanet only unti she is better.

This rumor has legs because if other clubs in the area like Wolves are in and he is intrested in them above us why didnt they get him in Aug ?

But to be honest in all of this as mention before respect to him and i wish his mum all the best for her fight as your health is the one thing u can not buy.

                        Get well soon

Wouldn't the idea be to move his mum down to London permanently?

                            my sentiments exactly.
There are a lot more important things than football, and I for one hope he turns us down, not because he is a bad player, but because he should be left alone to look after his mum.

We don't know how bad his mum is and moving her all the way down here would probably be a stress she really doesn't need.

Not what I meant. There were apparently talks about how qpr could help with his mums illness. I took that to mean giving him the care she needs down here rather than him having to fly back and forth. If she isn't well enough to move, then that would be the end of the talks.
