Have I missed something here? Since when did Hogan become our superstar?

No one batted an eyelid when he was loaned to Charlton and only a few were surprised when he was left out of the 25. He didn't even feature much in the 2nd half of our season last year?! All of a sudden he needs to be given a chance again.

Don't get me wrong, I like him and I thought he was tremendous at times for us in the Championship, but he is not a Premiership player!

Nether was clint hill, Derry, helguson to name a few. All done ok so far.. What is a prem player? I don't think he will set the world alight but should of been given a go instead of a few others.

Fair point, there is no definitive criteria that makes a Prem player.

However on this seasons performances I would say Derry has really struggled to make the step up and at times has looked well out of his depth.

More than happy to eat a big fat slice of humble pie if I'm wrong about Hogan.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Give the lad a chance, some on here said when Clint was selected he would be well found out but he wasn't and has handled the prem well imo

If only Hogan would run at full backs and try to beat them with his pace he could be a decent shout.

we all discuss loyalty , hogan played a big part n our early season form last year, has been a good servant at the club never hear him moaning , he deserved a chance and i felt gutted fo rhim that places in the squad given to puncheon and dyer , people who contributed nothing to the cause whilst someone who had got overlooked

No room for loyalty or sentiment.
