  • Macheda - Risk or Clever Business

I for one thing that the signing of Macheda may well be a clever bit of Business, whilst not a prolific scorer, he does have a Man U pedigree and if Ferguson didn't rate him, would be looking at selling rather than retaining and sending out on loan. The Massive plus to this is he is under 21 and therefore doesn't count towards the 25 Man squad rule, so a great option and hopefully not the last attacking signing. With the release of Puncheon, we have at least one opening to fill from the original 25.

    Thoughts?

He will score some vital goals for us, of that I am sure.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Admittedly I am slightly underwhelmed, BUT, he doesnt take up a space in the 25 due to his age, he is on loan and therefore we havent "risked" a few mill on him and so really its got to be clever business? We have nothing to lose by bringing him in... Unless there is a silly clause about him needing to play eveyr game but Im pretty sure there wouldnt be?!
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Based on age, pedigree of previous training he is a very good signing. If he plays today i think he will score or at least create chances.

Someone yesterday likened this to sturidge and Bolton last year . Another player no real scoring record on the fringes and you know what he may have a point

cost nothing as is a loan and doesnt take a space up of the 25 because he is too young...whats not too like. Good loan signing and we need to fill out the squad

Very clever, top range loan and under 21 so not even in the 25 man squad!
              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
              And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Dont they have to be homegrown and under 21 to not count in the 25 and he is italian

He doesn't count towards the 25.

                      From BBC:
                      - Clubs register a squad of up to 25 players, which must include at least eight 'home-grown' players, at the end of each transfer window.
                      - Home-grown players do not have to be English; home-grown players are defined as those who "irrespective of nationality or age, have been affiliated to the FA or Welsh FA for a period of three seasons or 36 months prior to 21st birthday"
                      - Clubs can supplement squad with unlimited number of players under the age of 21.
"Trust In Warnock" - Don't just type it - Do It.

If he scores goals or contributes enough to win us points it was clever business. If he doesn't it was a failed task.

Regardless of our thoughts of if he's the right person or not every single one of us has a duty to get behind the kid & support him. He's a Queens Park Rangers player & that's all I need to know. He has my 100% support.

What is good about this signing is He is here on day one of the transfere window and gives a bit of time to get the right forward or farwards in
