    Faurlin

Sorry to moan about prob our best player so far this year but I think his final balls have been lacking. Should be able to hit the target more and many of his balls into the box were to high and too slow. I'm a big fan of his but I think if Barton did that we would be on his back. Rest of his game was good though.

His defensive work is what has won him Man of the Match, had by far the most tackles in the game. His passing is often neat and tidy but I would agree a bit more creativity or goal scoring would be nice.

Barton was far, far worse than Ale.

                Again.

It wasn't Faurlin's best game though, granted.

                  Good spot and I agree.

Couple of times recently I've thought he's been a little too conservative with his passing - laying it off and slowing the play rather than picking out the forward pass. You just know he's capable of more.

And the less said of his shooting the better! Wonder if he's that bad in training...

Saying that though, these are only small complaints for our clear main man. He might not quite seem to dominate games but without him the team would completely fall apart.

Faurlin has been poor since Warnock balled him out.

are we expecting world class in the middle? out of the 10 other players on the pitch he was up there with the top. AT was brilliant and AF was assured i thought. yes lost the ball - but in the engine room you're more likely to lose the ball in an important position that say Jamie M or someone - so therefore it's more noticable.

He's a great player and def one of our best. end of...surely?

Barton was pants for most of the match. Alejandro ran the show second half, mainly on his own. Other than two good moves late on (inc the goal) Mackie was pretty anonymous. Traore always wants three hours on the ball. Derry looks like an old bloke waiting at a bus stop. Faurlin was up against a five man midfield and second half he ran the show virtually single handed. Agree he was fairly poor first half but there were lots worse.
