He left man city to join chelsea....not a chance in us getting him as you said apparentley on a massive wage and he played and scored for chelsea at the weekend.Originally posted by W12_Ranger View PostWe are talking about Sturridge who as just signed from Man City here?
This is the same player who is on a reported 60k a week?
Is this thread actually serious or are we having a monday morning wind up?
I read today on bbc ched evans in talks with ipswich??
And craig bellamey come on he will walk into most prem teams outside top 6.@chrisrobson9

dont have to pay 100% of his wages and hold on...why not increase our wage bill 3,4 or even 5 million for the season and get some GOOD loan players in when the reward would be the prem and the chance to recoup plus a lot more? speculate to accumulate and all that?? and whats 5 million to our owners, 1 at least is a BILLIONAIRE for fs, who probably spend more than that on weddings and parties...why the caution? Teams like Forest and Ipswich are more financially ambitious than us this season which makes me wonder whether our lot are truly in it for the long term or just untill something better comes along.Originally posted by W12_Ranger View PostWe are talking about Sturridge who as just signed from Man City here?

Why can't you accept our transfer policy is what it is. Even in this fantasy world of yours that we'd stump up say 50% of his wages, why the fook would Sturridge ever want to sign for us. A mid table Championship team who get crowds of 13k or the chance of breaking into one of the best teams in the world starting 11. Sturridge never signed for Chelsea to make up the numbers he has dreams and aspirations of making it big time and probably going to the 2010 World Cup.Originally posted by vblockranger View Postdont have to pay 100% of his wages and hold on...why not increase our wage bill 3,4 or even 5 million for the season and get some GOOD loan players in when the reward would be the prem and the chance to recoup plus a lot more? speculate to accumulate and all that?? and whats 5 million to our owners, 1 at least is a BILLIONAIRE for fs, who probably spend more than that on weddings and parties...why the caution? i assume you mean Sturridge needs to get a grip on reality as theres no fookin way he's gonna get many games for Chel****...couldnt even get a game for Man City last season!!!! he is a young developing player that needs regular football and Chel**** would probably let him go to get some first team football somewhere local where they can keep an eye on him. At least make the inquiry! and if the player is too billy big time then at least we tried. and no i DONT accept our transfer policy and think the club should be more ambitious financially otherwise its another mid table season .. i want promotion and i thought the backing of a billionaire and a couple of millionaires would secure that.Originally posted by W12_Ranger View PostWhy can't you accept our transfer policy is what it is.
