Not fair to drop mackie but at present I feel that is or best starting eleven. If not Gabbidon at CB then got to be Clint Hill

Anyone notice some of the passing between Ale and Armind last night? Was a joy to watch.

hall and gabbidon are clowns who dont belong in the premiership... connolly has done ok in the last two games and should be paired with ferdinand if fit.gabbidon is gifting goals for fun. i think we need a quality centre half most of all to stay up...

Hall and Gabbidon ARE 'quality' centre backs..........championship quality.

He's becoming one my favourites. Whenever he gets the ball he's always looking to take people on and get crosses in.

                        My thoughts exactly mate.

Anton is very good. Conolley isnt great, has alot of downfalls, but IMO is alot more solid than Gabs & Hall, both of whom I have little confidence in.

1 decent CB (ie Bassong for arguements sake) to go alongside Anton, with Conners & Gabs as back up and an LB to allow Traore to go LM and we have the basis of a very competitive side.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

This is why I think we should go for Bassong, Bridge, and Ridgewell.

Would be ideal if we could mate.

Then bung a striker in there and maybe a midfielder (although not essential) and we will have a very strong side.

Bassong was almost a done deal last time, and could happen soon. Bridge has been told to leave, and could be persuaded to join with a little help from SWP. Ridgewell is apparently a QPR fan and put in a transfer request last time which was turned down. If NW is interested I think he would join.

Three good players and all strong possibilities.
