                  There needs to be an understanding between the CB's, so they communicate and cover for each other, and that clearly isn't happening with these 2 together, something is missing and neither seems to be in charge. If either of them played alongside Anton then their performances would improve imo.

                                  I believe SWP is a better right sided midfielder than Mackie. NW does not agree however.....

                                      I thought mackie done well last night, least he ran at the back four. Agree he not prem standard but last night he wasn't too bad. I don't understand why swp is so poor? Confidence must be shot?

                                                          Connolly is clueless and always has been, he just cannot defend.

                                                          Ferdinand is an organiser who gets the best out of Gabidon (who is headless at the best of times) but we really miss him. Traore is loose cannon but at least he has talent and is good going forward. Luke Young is decent but got caught up in the shambles last night. Worrying performance.

                                                          Adel proved he is still by far our best player.
