He can't tackle, can't shoot, can't dribble, runs in circles, no reactions, no right foot, no instep on his left - it's all little curled balls that rarely penetrate.

As for Barton's free kick at the end that was meant for Faurlin's right foot - are they having a laugh?

Dont see what the fuss is with Jones, think he'll grow into another version of Carrick if played in midfield and Upson if played at CB. Overrated.
And to the original poster, yes you should get slated as you clearly no nothing about football if you think all Faurlin does is 'run around in circles'.

Warnock just said that if Jordan Henderson was worth what Liverpool paid, then Faurlin should cost as much.

Nobody believes Faurlin is worth that much. Don't be silly. We'd never turn that down for any player. Nor should we, but Warnock's comments were more of a 'hands-off' statement.

Faurlin was one of our best performers last year, and he's been one of our better players this year.

Just goes to show everyone has different opinions. I don't agree with yours about Jones, but then I wouldn't say you know nothing about football either.

I've never been convinced with Faurlin and yet others seem to rate him really highly, he's far too inconsistant IMO. That said he was better than Barton today who was woeful.

Faurlin seemed quite isolated today bcoz Barton kept wandering out wide right for some reason, and we played quite deep. So he often had 2 or 3 MU midfielders to contend with.

Also I've said before, Faurlin was very comfy with Derry next to him when we a play deep back line due to 2 slowish CB's. When Anton comes back and we push the back 4 up a bit, he'll have a better game in a more compressed midfield. Actually, I can't recall him joining the attack at all today, let alone have his customary 2 shots that he usually gets.
