Not sure I'd single attack out for specific criticsm... thought virtually all outfield players were well off the pace today.

Agree with that pedal tbh but away at Liverpool I was never expecting an easy ride but as I say going forward was shocking. Absolutely zero threat today.

      DJ next week please.

I think today just proves that the 4-5-1 won't work for us this season! Twice away to good teams, (Spurs and Liverpool) we changed to the two striker attack and looked much better, I think that has to be our formation of choice right from the start no matter who we are playing! Now it's up to NW to put the right players in position to play this way!

Frustrating stuff, reminded me of the Spurs game a bit. Liverpool were quite good but we helped them massively by not passing to each other til the 70th minute.

Silly to play a flat 4-4-2 against a packed tight, fluid midfield if we weren't going to use the flanks properly. Remember when they used to think Gareth Bale was an attacking wingback? That's what Traore's suffering from now. And for the love of God can we just put SWP in his proper position and tell him just to get on with doing what he's done his entire bleeding career.

Bothroyd is infuriating. Clearly talented on the ball but nothing driving him whatsoever. (Can't see him ever taking a lump like Heidar at Stoke, can you?). Should start calling him the Tin Man.

Nice to see Clint doing backheels by the corner flag mind.

              Agree with every word mate.

SWP being played in his natural position is just not in the managers game plan it seems, and why? To accommodate Mackie? Please.

Bothroyd if another good striker is bought will struggle to get anywhere near the starting XI again on his last few performances.

So it now appears Orr, Mackie, Smith and Buzz are not Prem standard players. So thats 3 new midfielders needed in Jan, not to mention a striker, a CB and LB (for when Traore goes to Africa).

Missed Taarabt today. If he is offski or not being played we need to buy a creative player. We could still be playing now without looking like scoring.

I agree mate. Personally thought Taarabt was required last week at home to WBA to give us a spark & also yesterday we were so flat it was unreal we had about a 10 min spell where we won a couple of corners & that was about it, we don't ever look like scoring & Taarabt could do no worse than plenty out there yesterday & last Saturday.

He's obviously out of Warnocks plans that's clear & I respect that as he's the boss but it can't be dismissed we miss his creativity.

SWP is right winger and Traore is left winger. Drop Mackie. Helguson and DJ Campbell upfront.

                        Agree with that Yousef.

Mackie as much as I love his effort he hasn't got the minerals. Squad player to call upon at best.

NW has his hands tied with regards to numbers so its fair enough that he's getting playing time but at the expense of putting SWP out of position is a poor tactic imo.

A lot of fans love Mackie because he works hard. Effort doessn;t win football matches - qualioty does and he doesn;t have enough of that.

                            Boothroyd is just useless recently.

No we don't, we need To play 4-2-3-1.

                                -- Derry? --- Barton --
                                SWP - Faurlin - Traore
                                ----- DJ Campbell -----
